Since Medieval time, oil paintings have captured for the future the important people and events of the past.  The intrinsic value of oil painting continues to grow, not only in the value of preserving the present for the future, but in the representation of the importance placed on the subject matter itself.

It is now possible, even practical, to capture an important person, object, or special event in your life for the future in an original oil painting.  The time has never been better to own or create for yourself an original custom oil painting.  

What is meant by a "custom original" oil painting?  It is an oil painting where you select an original subject and an original background and then merge the two together.  This means, of course, that they can be and usually are from different sources that are merged together on the final custom original oil painting. Below there are two different examples of custom original oil paintings utilizing this technique.
